Financial Assistance

Kingston Panthers RFC is an inclusive and community minded organization. We want everyone to have the opportunity to participate in rugby and encourage all interested players or parents to contact their minister for possible funding options.

For minors and juniors the City of Kingston & Canadian Tire provide funding for youth to participate in community sports programs including Kingston Panthers RFC Minors and Juniors programs.

The Kingston program is called PROKids and is accepting applications now.  Click here for info.
The Canadian Tire program is called Jumpstart.  Click here to apply. This program is for kids 4 – 18 and takes up tp 6 – 8 weeks to process. They start accepting in January so parents can apply early.
Note 1: The club has no involvement in any funding decisions made by PROKids or Jumpstart.
Limited funding is also available to players at all levels on a “first come-first served” basis through the club.  Contact the responsible minister for details.

Sponsors

The Kingston Panthers Rugby Football Club receives funding from cGaming by providing team volunteers at the local bingo hall.
The funds we receive from cGaming helps us with the purchase of equipment like rucking pads, team kit (jerseys, shorts etc) and helps defray the cost of renting our fields. Without the financial assistance we receive from cGaming, it would be impossible to run our programs from U6-U18.
Thanks cGaming!

Refund Policy

Players and parents should be “Rugby Ready” before the first game. Whether you or your child are new to the game or are 7th generation ruggers it is important for everyone to be up to speed on current safe rugby practices. World Rugby offers free online modules through their World Rugby Passport. Rugby Canada recommends all players, parents, coaches, referees, and administrators complete these two modules every year.
